Native vegetation and specifically grassy woodland plant associations have been poorly conserved or highly modified in most areas of the Adelaide Mount Lofty Ranges (AMLR). The principal objective is the protection and enhancement of the natural environment, primarily in South Australia and particularly conservation and restoration of native grasslands and grassy ecosystems.
