Located near Chiddarcooping Nature Reserve, the Warralakin project is part of a biodiversity hotspot home to threatened species like the Malleefowl. Supported by Everclime, this reforestation effort led by Carbon Positive Australia aims to restore native vegetation and create crucial habitats for species such as Dunnarts, Western Yellow Robins, and Pink Cockatoos. Native seeds will be hand-planted in winter 2023, contributing to long-term ecosystem restoration and biodiversity conservation.

Planting

Seedlings have been hand-planted in winter 2023 & 2024, grown from locally sourced native seeds to support long-term ecosystem restoration.
