This project transforms outdated gas infrastructure by deploying state-of-the-art leak detection and repair technologies across the Titas Gas network. Methane, a highly potent greenhouse gas, is prevented from leaking into the atmosphere—avoiding over 4 million tonnes of CO₂e emissions annually. By improving energy efficiency, building local capacity, and preserving a vital natural resource, this initiative directly supports Bangladesh’s national sustainability and energy security goals.
