Project Story

In collaboration with their community's veterinary professionals, they extend their nurturing efforts to birds, reptiles, and marsupials. Their dedicated team of volunteers devotes their time and energy all year round to ensure the well-being of these animals. Their aspiration is to establish themselves as a distinguished institution for the comprehensive care of indigenous fauna. The wildlife centre is committed to raising awareness and educating the local community in the Peel region about the optimal methods of tending to and safeguarding the remarkable local wildlife.

Animal Patient

Spunk, a small Dove arrived at the Wildlife Centre's Intensive Care Unit not long ago.

Spunk's condition strongly suggested that it had fallen out of its nest and suffered from severe hypothermia.

Following the standard admission procedures, Spunk was placed inside a temperature-controlled enclosure, commonly referred to as a hot-box, to gradually raise its body temperature and ensure a cozy and comforting environment for its recovery.

Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were introduced by the United Nations in 2015 as a comprehensive set of 17 interrelated goals. This framework aims to tackle the world's most urgent economic, social, and environmental challenges, providing a roadmap for global progress.

Manurah Wildlife Rescue addresses the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 15 by helping to sustain diversity and saving lives of animal species.
