The Future Forest Company: Montgreenan

Montgreenan, a 15.2-hectare site in East Ayrshire, South West of Glasgow, is home to a 33,000 native woodland creation scheme. This project focuses on planting native broadleaf trees to capture carbon and restore one of the region’s most threatened ecosystems—wet woodland. Alongside rewilding and wetland restoration, the project enhances biodiversity and supports local communities.
