Project Story

The wind farms generate clean electricity which is exported to the regional grid system, displacing power generated from fossil fuel-based thermal power stations. This results in a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, specifically carbon dioxide.

The estimated annual GHG emission reductions from the project are 127,207 tonnes of CO2. Over the chosen 10-year crediting period, the total GHG emission reductions are projected to be 1,272,070 tonnes of CO2.

The project is a new facility aimed at generating sustainable energy through wind technology without consuming fossil fuels or causing negative environmental impacts. It contributes to India's renewable energy goals and helps mitigate climate change.

SDG's

SDG 7: About 45,849 MWh renewable energy was supplied to Indian grid during the reported period that helps to increase the renewable energy share in the energy mix away from a reliance of fossil fuel based energy.

SDG 13: By supplying 45,849 MWh clean electricity to Indian grid, the project avoided release of 44,257 tCO2e in to the atmosphere during the reporting period.
