Project Story

Since the wind and solar power is Green House Gas (GHG) emissions free, the power generated prevents the anthropogenic GHG emissions generated by the fossil fuel based thermal power stations comprising coal, diesel, furnace oil, and gas. The estimation of GHG reductions by this project is limited to carbon dioxide (CO2) only.

The project activity involves the installation of Wind Power Projects. The total installed capacity of the project is 60 MW; which involves the operation of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) in multiple states of India.

Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 interconnected goals established by the United Nations in 2015. The SDGs provide a comprehensive framework for addressing the world's most pressing economic, social, and environmental challenges.

Global impact groups play a crucial role in supporting the SDGs by creating mechanisms to mobilise resources, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive collective action toward achieving the goals. These groups have the capacity to leverage their expertise and resources to make a significant positive impact.
