The challenging terrain of these sites made AirSeed's drone technology the ideal solution for effective restoration efforts. Using this innovative method, AirSeed planted a diverse range of native "pioneer" species uniquely suited to thrive on these steep and inhospitable grounds. These fast-growing plants play a crucial role in stabilizing soil, preventing erosion, and creating a nurturing environment that fosters natural regeneration.

With this innovative approach, AirSeed successfully restored 69 landslips across 29 sites by planting nearly half a million bespoke seed pods. These restoration efforts ensured stabilization and promoted habitat regeneration in critical areas.

This resulted in widespread destruction of wildlife habitats and old-growth forests as well as crucial areas of refuge for local endangered species, including the koala. This upheaval jeopardized native biodiversity and severely impacted the resilience of the local ecosystem.
AirSeed partnered with recovery organizations in the area
to restore biodiversity and enhance ecological resilience,
safeguarding natural heritage for future generations.

Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 interconnected goals established by the United Nations in 2015. The SDGs provide a comprehensive framework for addressing the world's most pressing economic, social, and environmental challenges.

Global impact groups play a crucial role in supporting the SDGs by creating mechanisms to mobilise resources, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive collective action toward achieving the goals. These groups have the capacity to leverage their expertise and resources to make a significant positive impact.
