Brand Journey

The Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) from COP 15 is vital for safeguarding Earth's biodiversity. A key target is protecting 30% of land and marine areas by 2030 to halt biodiversity decline. National parks play a crucial role in preserving diverse ecosystems and FNPW has invested over $60 million since 2000 to acquire and expand parks, providing lasting protection for habitats and endangered species.

Thriving biodiversity is vital for ecosystems and human well-being. Each species plays a unique role, and their loss can have far-reaching consequences. Biodiversity provides critical services like clean water, air purification, and climate regulation.

Unfortunately, Australia's Environment Protection and Biodiversity Act (EPBC Act ) lists hundreds of species as threatened or endangered. FNPW preserves habitats and protects vulnerable species, conserving Australia's natural heritage and contributing to global climate and biodiversity efforts.

In recent times, Australian wildlife has faced immense challenges due to devastating bushfires and floods, which have caused significant damage to their natural habitats. In response, FNPW has set a remarkable goal to plant and grow one million trees in these affected areas by 2023. This ambitious initiative aims to create wildlife corridors, enhance habitats, and mitigate the impacts of climate change.

With your support, we can create a healthier future for our planet.

Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 interconnected goals established by the United Nations in 2015. The SDGs provide a comprehensive framework for addressing the world's most pressing economic, social, and environmental challenges.

Global impact groups play a crucial role in supporting the SDGs by creating mechanisms to mobilise resources, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive collective action toward achieving the goals. These groups have the capacity to leverage their expertise and resources to make a significant positive impact.
