Rooting for Change: SEA Backs Forktree
27 May 2025

Rooting for Change

The Sea Summit 2025 Campaign, led by the Sports Environment Alliance, is a purpose driven initiative supporting the restoration of nature through the power of sport.⠀

As the peak body for environmental leadership in sport across Australia and New Zealand, the Sports Environment Alliance empowers the sporting community to take meaningful climate action. Through advocacy, collaboration, and education, SEA helps sporting organisations and their communities become champions for a healthy planet.

By joining The Forktree Project initiative, the Sea Summit 2025 Campaign is directly supporting the restoration of 133 acres of degraded land in South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula. This includes planting tens of thousands of native trees and shrubs, regenerating ecosystems, and contributing to biodiversity recovery and carbon drawdown.

Everclime Welcomes Forktree - Champions of Biodiversity and Climate Action
27 May 2025

Welcomes Forktree!

We’re excited to welcome the Forktree Project to Everclime! Founded by environmental scientist Tim Jarvis AM, this incredible initiative is restoring 54 hectares of degraded farmland in South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula into flourishing native habitat.

Through rewilding, education, and sustainable land practices, Forktree is boosting biodiversity, fighting climate change, and reconnecting people with nature. Since 2019, they've planted over 20,000 native trees, built a rare seed orchard, and developed a nursery producing 20,000+ plants each year.

We’re proud to support Forktree’s mission and can’t wait to share their journey with you.
