Driving Sustainability with Electric Vehicles
CATO Location Services has expanded its commitment to sustainability by introducing its first electric vehicle (EV) fleet, following its certification as a Carbon Neutral company under the Climate Active standard. The fleet includes a BYD vehicle, utilized for rolling block operations, and a Ford EV van, which serves as a key asset in Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) strategies. These EVs have already proven effective in real-world applications, such as their deployment at a Camden Council event in January 2025. By integrating EVs into their operations, CATO aims to reduce emissions, lower operational costs, and enhance efficiency in transporting traffic management equipment across Sydney, thereby supporting both environmental and economic sustainability in the entertainment and construction industries.
