The Narndee Human Induced Regeneration (HIR) Project

Located in Western Australia’s Mount Magnet, the Narndee Human Induced Regeneration (HIR) project, supported by Everclime, is regenerating native forests by changing land management practices. Established in 2018, the project has successfully issued over 119,000 KACCUs, contributing to carbon sequestration under the Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF). Led by Forever Wild, this project promotes low-impact agriculture, ensuring the balance between nature and sustainable livelihoods. Satellite imagery with Everclime’s NDVI overlay showcases the restoration progress over time, demonstrating the positive impact of HIR on vegetation and biodiversity.
